Life is still beautiful!

This is the way I want to live

The Amish teach their children from childhood JOY stands for JESUS FIRST, OTHERS IN BETWEEN

I really start to admire these people .. Is this not how we’re supposed to live.?

They are regularly reminded that the “I” in “PRIDE” actually means, obedience and humility and simplicity to pursue!

It is, as if they, were doing things so quietly with their heart and soul….

I came across this children poem and want to share this

“I must be a Christian child,

Gentle, patient, meek and mild,

Must be honest, simple, true,

I must cheerfully obey,

Giving up my will and way….”

I’m really considering moving to Pennsylvania, “Lancaster Country”….

After my son finished his studies….Will love the simple things in Life..

  1. This is so true, Ilse. Btw, Pennsylvania is not the only state that have Amish people. I grew up with Amish in my farm community in central Illinois, and I have only the fondest memories of them – a wonderful people. And, you bet, as I age that pace of theirs is so very attractive.

  2. Great to hear this, I just have 2 start saving, to get me over there….I think it’s their pace that attracts me the most, it’s like time stood still, and the love and care they have for each other. Also because their Religion is very important to them! Looks like they really try to live how the Bible told us to live?
